Welcome to Breezy Meadow Pointers! We are a small, husband-and-wife owned German Shorthaired Pointer breeding program located in beautiful Amador County, Northern California, where our dogs and puppies are raised on our peaceful farm homestead, surrounded by open space, everyday country life, hands on care, and lots of love.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our dogs are first and foremost part of our family and everyday life. We raise our puppies right in the middle of real life activities. From their very first days, our goal is to help each puppy grow into a confident, happy, and well-mannered companion who is ready to become a true part of their new family.

 

Our puppies are raised around our other animals, including our cows, mini ponies, and our barn kitties. Being surrounded by a calm, everyday farm environment helps our puppies become comfortable with different sights, sounds, and experiences early on, building confidence and adaptability as they grow.

 

We have both grown up around animals and have always had a deep appreciation for animal care, responsibility, and hands-on involvement. Living on our family property allows us to raise our dogs in an environment built around daily interaction and attentive care.

 

Our breeding program began with a desire to raise well-balanced, healthy German Shorthaired Pointer puppies in a small, family-focused setting where each litter receives the time and attention it deserves. What started as a love for the breed has grown into a thoughtfully planned program centered on responsible breeding practices and long-term support for our puppy families.

 

We take great pride in our breeding program and thoughtfully plan each litter with health, temperament, and the long-term well-being of the breed in mind. Our breeding dogs are AKC registered and carefully selected to reflect the wonderful qualities German Shorthaired Pointers are known for—intelligence, loyalty, affection, and a joyful, people-focused nature.

 

Just as important as how our puppies are raised is where they go. We truly enjoy getting to know our families and helping guide them toward the puppy that best fits their lifestyle. We love staying in touch long after pickup day and are always grateful for the photos, messages, and updates we receive as our puppies grow and become part of their new homes. Many of our families return to us when they are ready to add another Breezy Meadow puppy, and that continued connection means the world to us.
